Free motion quilting
by: Germaine

Hi- I have a PFAFF 2046 I like it very much. Except free motion quilting. If I use it for any extended of time the hook break. That is what sew the top and bottom thread together. Then is a trip to get a new hook (Repair).

I don't know if I'm douing something wrong or my machine is just a lemon. My manual doesn't explain to much on how to get the machine ready for free motions. Do I use darning stitch (I never try that before). I use the Darning Foot.

Love to heir from you.
